    The Technical Coordinator / Technical Project Manager will work with our talented pipeline and systems teams to help guide in-house development and technical projects to completion.  In conjunction with our Pipeline Supervisor and IT Manager you will be responsible for day-to-day execution of multiple projects, helping to develop schedules and resource plans, clarify requirements and look for issues and roadblocks to successful outcomes.

    You can:

  • Plan and coordinate multiple project schedules, goals and milestones
  • Work with software developers to clarify specifications, create time estimates and plans for delivery
  • Facilitate planning with systems engineering for infrastructure requirements and rollouts
  • Provide day to day project management of team to achieve the goals for their assignments
  • Help to develop resource requirements for projects
  • Review project success vs. challenges to suggest ways to improve development and rollout process
  • Anticipate issues or roadblocks and proactively implement solutions
  • You have:

  • At least 3 years of technical Project Management experience required (Feature film, Games, web development, IT or similar industry preferred)
  • Proven ability to excel in fast paced environments handling multiple, competing priorities
  • Visual Effects pipeline or production experience a plus
  • Experience as a developer is a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to analyse and solve problems
  • The ability to prioritize and a sense of urgency

  • Produce tracked cameras / virtual sets from plate photography
  • Work with animation and modelling departments to ensure accurate camera track
  • You have:

  • Mastered the core 3D principles rotation, translation, scale, gimbal lock
  • A thorough understanding of 3D camera principles such as lenses, distortion, parallax etc
  • Proficiency in Maya and in one or more camera tracking packages (Syntheyes, PFTrack etc)
  • A team player mentality with a good getter attitude
